 100% of all donations given for Kenya go to Kenya. Skills for Living is unique in that the volunteers and founders provide their own support and take no income from the charity; this allows donations to get to those who need them the most!
Our work in Kenya focuses on building churches, schools, and Income Gernerating Projects (IGP's). IGP's provide a family or a church with a lifetime income, the ability to contribute to others, and personal dignity. We have many such projects underway--a chicken farm, a sugar cane farms, widow's tailoring school, etc--and these simple projects are making a huge impact.
